As a member of AGSBAAI, i.e., an MBA graduate of AGSB, you can help ensure the success of the Association’s activities by getting an AGSBAAI Membership card. The following sections describe how to apply for an AGSBAAI Membership card and the benefits you will derive out of having one.

Getting an AGSBAAI Membership Card
1. You may choose to get either a regular card or a lifetime card.
| Regular Card |
The regular card is P1,000. It is valid for 3 years from date of issue. The expiry date is explicitly shown on the face of the card. A regular cardholder may decide to switch to lifetime membership at any time and will pay only the difference between the two. |

| Lifetime Card |
The lifetime card is P2,500. Lifetime membership avoids paying the regular membership fee and any future escalations on the regular membership fee. The card will bear the words Lifetime Member and will not show an expiry date. The cardholder is not exempt from any other special assessment on the general membership that the Association may subsequently decide and impose on a prospective basis. Payment of a lifetime membership fee shall automatically be forfeited by a member expelled from the Association. Reinstatement will require payment anew of either a lifetime or regular membership fee. |
(New: A promo of P2,000 for the lifetime card is being offered until July 31, 2010. For those who paid P500 for the regular card last January 2010, you may opt to pay additional P500 to avail of the 3-year regular card or additional P1,500 for the lifetime card.)
2. Requests for the Membership card may be done by going to the AGSB office personally or via email.

Bring a 2”x2” colored ID picture. You will be asked to give your specimen signature and pay the membership fee.

Send your email to agsbaai@aps.ateneo.edu to initially request for the procedure for paying in our bank. After paying, send a second email to include your scanned 2”x2” colored ID picture, specimen signature, and a scanned/faxed copy of the bank payment advice. |
3. Card embossing is done in batches. The processing of a batch takes about two weeks. You will be advised by email when the card is ready for pick-up.
4. Lost cards will be replaced with new ones only upon written request by the Member and payment of the cost of replacing the card. The validity of the replacement card is the same as that of the card being replaced.
5. Invalidated cards (arising from inappropriate use or from being expelled from AGSBAAI membership) cannot be replaced until after the member will have been reinstated by the AGSBAAI Board.
6. The Membership card is non-transferable.

Benefits
1. Admission to all forums initiated by AGSB and by AGSBAAI.
An AGSBAAI Membership card provides free entry to these forums. We deliberately have not set a forum entrance fee for non-cardholders. If we did, a member who attends all the forums in a year (we had eight in 2007) will realize that avoiding the forum fee would more than pay off for the cost of the Membership card.
2. Discounts on Courses offered by the Ateneo Center for Continuing Education (CCE).
Selected CCE courses carry as much as 15% discounts for cardholders. A typical 3-day course discount would more than pay off for the cost of the Membership card. Go to Blue Network to check out the CCE courses scheduled for the current quarter.
3. Access to APS Library.
Cardholders who desire to use the APS library facilities in Rockwell are entitled to a 25% reduction on the library research fee. Pay only P75 per visit. You will also be entitled to the following:
a. Free Internet use in the Electronic Resource Center for one hour per day, subject to space availability.
b. Library access to books, however, these books cannot be taken out.
c. Viewing of business CDs, DVDs, and VHS, subject to availability.
4. Exclusive discounts/privileges at participating merchants

5. Subscription to Frontline
Frontline is published every semester by the Ateneo Professional Schools. The contents of the magazine bring together the vision, activities, and projects of the four different schools, one of which is the Graduate School of Business. Cardholders are not only guaranteed to receive free copies of Frontline, but are also given preference in the event of limited distribution.
